God of the valley ....

I was listening to his word from my church back home last night. Christ is not only the god of the mountains but also god of the valley.

Quoting the Pastor who shared god's word...

"In the valley our vision is limited, the future is clouded & we doubt God’s ability to get us through it. But in the valley we have a weapon to overcome- unconditional trust in God.

What gets you through the valley is knowing who your God is. Be “God-assured” and not “self- assured”. God’s response to the battle in your valley is to worship Him..."

I was reminded of something yesterday and was encouraged... reminded of an encouraging email from one of my dear friends a couple who pray for me regularly..

"But I know God is under control of this situation and He is not surprised by what's going on. I request you to give God complete control and ask Him to lead you and guide you."

It is true that our Lord is well aware of the valley we may be in.... remember Joseph who went through his tough times (in the valley) but the lord didn't forget him. The Lord watched over him even when he was in the valley (when put in jail because of Potiphar's wife) and he lifted him up and blessed him.

He is above all our situations, in our unanswered prayers, in our waiting when we don't see an answer or don't understand what the dreams are about.... he is still there and wants us to just trust in him, put our complete faith in him because he is with us in that valley watching over us..
