I was listening to this song "Everytime" and remembering the Lord's goodness in my life. How he saved me, how he forgives me everytime with his abounding love and grace, how he encourages me when I feel discouraged and much more... All I can do is stand in awe of his goodness and greatness. All he wants and I need to do is surrender myself completely to him alone!!
What comes to your mind when you hear the word "abandon"? I guess its not really that word that makes one happy or excited... But, "abandon" can be sweet.. yes, sweet in the arms of Jesus! Giving up ourselves completely to him, he who promised to never leave nor forsake us.. not once or twice but a promise for our daily walk. When we seek him daily and thirst for him, we are able to surrender ourselves completely to him and that is the "abandonment" which is sweet because we are looking at him alone and in him there is light because he is the way, the truth and the light... and he is faithful and he is the same yesterday today and forever.. everytime as his word says!!
